Sounds excactly like planes. When you got there unprepared you got stung by deathsquitos. Instadeath, But when you know what to expect you can traverse fields pretty early.

If you added tin and black metal to the loot table of dungeon chests, why not just add another biome specific items? That way you could at least make armor. However, all this really shows is that Mistlands only isn't technically possible.

Interesting. Regarding the narrative of your video, it would have been better, to explain the fact, that you modded in the otherwise unobtainable black metal ingots, in the beginning of the video. Missing that information left me suspicious for the first 22 minutes of the video, since I knew with certainty, that in vanilla black metal ingots are unobtainable, without a blast furnace <- artisan table <- Moders dragon tears. A couple of other things I'm curious about are: Why didn't you make a Carapace Armor and Shield? By modding in black metal ingots, you unlocked everything needed for that. Why didn't you make Krom? Was the tin available from modding it into infested mines chests, simply not enough to make the necessary bronze, needed for Krom in a reasonable time, or was there another reason? Copper and Iron are abundantly available in the Mistlands. Why didn't you harvest chains, that you can get from the hook and chain found in Dvergr excavation sites and Dvergr harbours? You can see one at 26:17. That would have allowed you to make an Iron Cooking Station for better food (Cooked Seeker and Hare meat), and the crafting of Black Metal Shields and Black Metal Tower Shields. It's been a while, but I think you need to hit the chain or hook directly, to get it drop a chain. Applying all of the above, you could have had full Carapace Armor, Carapace Shield and/or Buckler, Krom and a set of cooked seeker and hare meat and a mage cap or yotun puff, giving you a total of 170 HP, allowing you to parry and block some threats. With the occasional sausages from chests, it would be even 200 HP. Getting some Dvergr to shoot down a Gjall, is not that difficult. With that you can get the Bilebags to craft the Jotung Bane, allowing you to chop down quasi infinite Yggdrasil Wood, without reliance on Seeker Soldiers, to break it. The axe would also make the breaking of Dvergr structures easier. The Black Metal Pickaxe also only needs Yggdrasil Wood and black metal, so there is practically no limitation on the soft tissue and thus no limit on the refined eitr you can get. Fine wood is also acquirable from the wagons in Dvergr dig sites, and the chests found in most Dvergr outposts. Interestingly you could craft the Staff of Embers and Staff of Protection, but I think they would be useless, because you are missing the requirements to upgrade a cauldron far enough to make sufficient eitr foods. Mage Caps alone do not provide enough eitr to start using them. Another thing, I'm not entirely sure about is feathers: I think seagulls can spawn in the ocean biome. So building out into the ocean to create a landing spot for them, could give you access to feathers, making the feather cape available. So armor and weapons are not that limited, under the given circumstances. Probably most limiting is that you can't upgrade the cauldron above level 2, limiting the foods you have available and that honey is not available, which would be needed for most meads.

On the editing side: Do not bait the obvious. 'Oh no theres an issue here but we'll talk about it later' Its pretty obvious that the items get left behind, not some miraculous secret to hold for later.

How do you jump on a golems head while freezing to pick axe it? I guess to save time... at that point, just avoid em...

Can you get that cutscene elsewhere? I got it in a church, but never unlocked in ability to level up.

Claws has very good secondary attack. it basicly stuns enemies and is very good versus 1v1s you can easy kill even 2star Fuling berserkers in plains with them.

Compared to the Misty Lands update, the Ashen Lands update left me very disappointed. Because the abundance of enemies is not pleasing, the mini-bosses of locations, like the Valkyrie, since their quality seems to be made too low. For example, items dropped from the Valkyrie are used to craft new items, but it does not drop unique resources from which individual unique items can be made. For example, in the swamps, there is a mini-boss from which roots fall out; these same roots are used to craft unique armor, which provides resistance to poison, which permeates all the Swamps without exception. The Fortresses that needed to be stormed were especially frustrating. Rams and Catapults are too useless.

First steps in Ashlands are harder than last boss... scaling from Mistlands to Ashlands is kinda whack imho. At least the shore should have been a little bit more chill with spawn rate of mobs.
